recom art care is your contact for high-quality digitization, fine art printing, reproduction photography, and image editing. We work with museums, collections, galleries, archives, artists, and private clients — always with close attention to the original, the material, and the context of each project.

Whether you are planning the digitization of a single artwork, a larger collection, a large-format original, or sensitive archival material, every project begins with a personal conversation. Together, we clarify which process is appropriate, which resolution is required, which file formats are needed, and how the original can be safely prepared, transported, or digitized on site.

For digitization projects, we work with technologies including the CRUSE scanner for large-format flat originals and the mobile DOM system for projects outside our studio. If required, we also provide image editing, color-accurate file preparation, print preparation, and fine art production.

Send us a short description of your project. Helpful details include format, material, number of works, intended use, and timeline. If images or technical requirements are already available, you are welcome to include them.

We reply personally and advise you on the right way to proceed.

Don’t wanna miss anything?

We send out a quarterly newsletter.

What information is useful for an efficient inquiry?

Helpful details include format, material, number of works, required resolution, intended use, and timeline. If not everything is clear yet, a short initial description is enough.

Can I inquire about sensitive originals?

Yes. We work with contactless and material-safe processes and assess which solution is appropriate for each object.

Do you work with institutions outside Berlin?

Yes. Depending on the project, work can take place in our studio, through coordinated transport, or with mobile digitization on site.
