Gallery Looks — Fine Art Prints for the Gemäldegalerie Berlin

The Gemäldegalerie Berlin is one of the most significant museums for European painting from the 13th to the 18th century. For the exhibition Gallery Looks – Fashion Stagings at the Gemäldegalerie, the museum took an unusual step: placing contemporary fashion design in direct dialogue with works by Rubens, Allori and Chardin.

Six Berlin-based fashion designers developed collections responding to classical paintings — photography, haute couture and canvas in a shared space. A curatorial risk. Visually precise.
